Bismuth oxyiodide nanocomposites supported on strontium hydroxyapatite enhance UV-Vis light-driven photocatalytic activity

In this research, we discuss the removal of basic fusion (BF), and crystal violet (CV) dyes by strontium hydroxyapatite supported BiOI. a modified hydrothermal model, one can synthesize BiOI/SrHA. BiOI/SrHA was characterized using Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), UV-visible (UV-vis) analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy (EDX), scanning electron microscopy (SEM). SEM outcome confirmed dispersion BiOI onto hydroxyapatite. The shape catalytic samples overlapped with each other to form 3D hierarchical flower-like structures. used as radiation source during photocatalysis. had an effect on malachite green dye degradation. oxidative occurred through hydroxyl radical formation. showed perfect photocatalytic property for decay Basic Fuchsin (BF) Crystal Violet from aqueous solution. According kinetics degradation rates could be in pseudo-first-order model
